From the center of Osaka City ,Kaizuka City is located about 30 minutes south on the Nankai Railway.
Kaizuka lies halfway between Osaka City and Wakayama City and is long and narrow in shape, extending east and west, sandwiched between Osaka Bay in front and the Izumi mountains in back. The Kansai International Airport, which is only about 10 minutes car ride from the city, is also within easy access.
Among the local industries developed in Kaizuka are the textile and the wire cable industry. Agriculture here is characterized by its high profitability, mainly producing lesser known types of vegetables such as butterburs and mizunasu eggplant.
Kaizuka is medium-sized city with a population of about 90,000 and an area of 43.99km2.
